MXGB Foxhill: ‘It’s been too long since I’ve lined up on a start gate’ – Gilbert

Par Homes Husqvarna MX1 rider Josh Gilbert returns to the MXGB paddock this weekend, after having surgery on his knee at the start of the season.

Speaking to Josh, he explained the plan over the next few weeks.

“It’s been too long since I’ve lined up a on a start gate!” said Josh. “The last race I did was at Trentino, Italy at the last GP of 2020. I’ve only had three weeks on the bike but feel pretty comfortable.”

“The plan for the weekend is to do the British championship tomorrow and if everything goes to plan then race the Mx Nationals on the Sunday. There’s not really any pressure for me this weekend, just go out and enjoy being back at the races.”
