Indy SX II: Tomac’s setup remains unchanged since Houston

Reigning Monster Energy Supercross Champion Eli Tomac is so comfortable with his Kawasaki 450 setup that he hasn’t changed it since the second Houston round.

Tomac has only won one race so far this year but sits third in the points table, nine points behind Honda’s Ken Roczen with a seven-point gap over team-mate Adam Cianciarulo.

“I didn’t change anything, any setup, I haven’t changed set-up since the second round at Houston, so that’s been the same. It was just better riding,” said Tomac.

“I felt like my old-self even though I didn’t win on the night, but felt like some old speed that way. I’m happy about that because I felt just kind of off in those first couple of rounds, but sometimes that happens, so hopefully we’ll get in a flow here.”
