Daytona SX: Roczen and Cooper top qualifying timesheets

Round Nine of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross is well underway in historic Daytona International Speedway, with the 250SX and 450SX riders tackling the tricky conditions out in the sand.

450SX

It’s no surprise that the Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Eli tomac has topped the charts in the first 450SX session this evening, as he has had a great run of previous main event wins in Daytona. Justin Barcia however made a few mistakes, actually spinning out on the grass and bending his bars and returning to the pit area to get them straightened out. Honda HRC’s Ken Roczen however smashed Q2 putting it on pole for the remainder of the session Meanwhile Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Dean Wilson looks back to his old self putting some great laps into his first qualifying session of the day.
