Arlington SX: Barcia vows to ‘come out swinging’
Red Bull GasGas rider Justin Barcia has vowed to come out swinging at tonight’s Arlington Monster Energy Supercross round to try and claw back some points on Ken Roczen and Cooper Webb.
The Florida native has had a tough time over recent race weekends and dropped to 46 points behind Honda’s Roczen after starting the season with a win in Houston.
“Daytona was a tough day. I kind of struggled with the track a bit and trying to find the comfort, which unfortunately didn’t happen,” said Barcia.
“I went back to California this week to do some work, get more comfortable so we can head into Texas and crush it. I’m definitely not pleased with the results so I’m trying to put this one in the past, move forward and regroup to come out swinging in the next three races, I’m looking forward to it.”
