Arlington SX II: ‘Getting the holeshot was key’ – Webb

The Red Bull KTM Rider Cooper Webb is storming a winning streak at the moment with going back to back in Texas and the AT&T Stadium, with Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen on his tail.

Speaking about tonight’s win and what its like for all three of them to be on the podium together, Cooper explained below in the post race press conference.

“It’s not often that we’re all three up there, So getting the hole shot was definitely key to that. And even though we were all there the whole shot was super important tonight.”

“To be able to raise up there and be able to get the win was was incredible. And, you know super motivating, really cool. I’m sure for for even the fans to kind of see us all up there and in the mix was was I’m sure cool for everyone.”

After suffering a nasty crash in qualifying this afternoon, we were surprised to see Cooper line up for the heat races, as from what we can see from the footage he literally face planted the dirt, but came away completely unscathed stating “I just got up slowly, just incase.”
