MXGP Lommel: Dickinson to remain out of action

Hitachi KTM’s newest MX2 rider Ashton Dickinson will not be lining up this weekend at Lommel, for round six of the championship series.

After suffering a huge off last weekend in the Czech Republic in the MX2 race, resulting in Dickinson having a hematoma on his forehead after being slammed by quite a few other riders, the decision has been made for him not to compete this weekend in Lommel, but to regroup and focus on being back for the MXGB Blaxhall round instead with his team mates.

“Unfortunately I won’t be racing the GP of lommel,” said Dickinson.

“Just so I can give my body a little more time to rest up after my first turn crash at Loket. I’m hoping to be back in action for the ACU British Motocross Championship at Blaxhall, big thank you to the whole team for everything the past few days and thank you everyone for the well wishes. I will be back stronger.”
