MXGB Landrake: ‘I would of liked to fight for the title’ – Bobryshev
Par Homes Husqvarna Evgeny Bobryshev took the final MX1 Overall victory this sunday at Landrake, for the Revo ACU British Championship finale.
Storming out the gate in the first MX1 moto and working his way through the field, ultimately finishing second just behind Crendon FastTrack Honda’s Tommy Searle who grabbed his first win of the season. Grabbing the moto two win by almost ten seconds, the russian came away with first overall for the weekend and sixth in the MX1 Championship.
“I had a good day,’ explained Bobryshev.
“I was struggling a little bit earlier on in the day with the track, but obviously I found some good lines in the moto’s and managed to get through the first laps.”
“I really enjoyed the second moto, yeah it was really good for me. Yeah, it’s just a shame I missed the season with a broken shoulder, I would of liked to fight for the title with the boys, but still its good to finish the end of the season on the top step.”
“The team did such a great job, everytime we would come here I would love racing the british.”
