Todt not expecting “a normal F1 season” in 2021

Formula 1 faced an unprecedented 2020 season of 17 rounds in Europe and the Middle East due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a late start in July and an extremely congested schedule that ran into December.
Last month, the World Motor Sport Council approved a record 23-race calendar for 2021 that sees F1’s traditional flyaway races return to their usual slots.
