British Masters: ‘Overall it was a good weekend’ – John Adamson
The Famous Shrewsbury circuit of Hawkstone Park hosted round one of the Bridgestone British Masters last sunday, with Team Gabriel Motocross KTM grabbing some great results across the weekend.
We caught up with Scotsman and Team Gabriel KTM MX2 rider John Adamson to discuss his weekend.
“The weekend started off well with a second in the 250’s in qualifying and a sixth combined time out of everyone.” Explained Adamson.
” I had a little bit of a struggle in the first race and not the best start, then a topple over wasn’t great. Then I struggled to complete passes against the 450’s which really held me back. I managed to make my way through to fourth in what was a very frustrating first race.”
“Race two was better with an ok start and I managed to work my way through to second. The rough track suited me better and was nice to get some bike time on a rough race track. Overall it was a good weekend back racing for myself and the team.”
