Cairoli considering third round of Italian MX series
Nine-time world champion Tony Cairoli is considering taking part in the third round of the Italian MX Championship at Mantova.
Cairoli, like reigning champion Tim Gajser, had opted out of the series to begin with but might now compete on March 14 weekend.
“We don’t have a new plan yet for the races in preparation. But it could be that Tony is driving in Mantova,” said Cairoli’s lackey Lorenzo Resta.
Resta also confirmed that Cairoli’s knee is fully recovered following an operation in December. The little Italian has been training in a 125 KTM in preparation for the new season.
