Hall signs with Rob Hooper Racing for 2021 British MX season

Teenager Lewis Hall has signed for Rob Hooper Racing and will contest the 2021 Revo ACU British Motocross Championship, Michelin MX Nationals and Bridgestone British Masters series.

Hall, at just 18 years old, has three full seasons of pro racing under his belt culminating in an MX2 moto win at the final round of the MX Nationals at Fatcat Motoparc. He joins Sam Nunn in the team.

“I’m really happy to be signing with Rob Hooper Yamaha for the 2021 Season. They are a great group of people, and I am very grateful for the opportunity,” said Hall.

“I love the bike and feel at home on it straight away so I’m excited to get the season started and see what I can achieve.”

Taylor Hammal, who has been with RHR for two years, has left the team for pastures new.

I am sad to see Taylor go of course,” said Hooper, “but he has been offered a great opportunity to showcase his talents on the world stage, and we are fully supportive of him and his family who have been a pleasure to work with over the last couple of years.

“We wish Taylor all of the best for the future, and we look forward to following his progress.

“We are very excited that Lewis has joined the team, we have a reputation of nurturing young British talent with our hands-on approach, and we feel we can help take Lewis’s career to the next level.

“Lewis has already been working amazingly hard, and we have been impressed by his dedication to the sport. I would like to say a big thank you to Adam Kelly and Harry Mackenzie from Yamaha for their support and helping us bring Lewis to the team.”
