Hamilton receives UK’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year

In a vote by BBC viewers, Hamilton beat footballer Jordan Henderson, jockey Hollie Doyle, snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan, cricketer Stuart Broad and boxer Tyson Fury to the 2020 award.
