Japanese Trials GP cancelled due to ongoing restrictions
World Championship Trials GP was due to head to Motegi Japan in may this year, but due to the ongoing Coronavirus restrictions it has been cancelled.
FIM, have released this statement below:
“Given the current health situation and restrictions linked to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the FIM, the Motorcycle Federation of Japan (MFJ) and local organiser Mobilityland have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Japanese TrialGP originally scheduled for 20-22 May at Motegi, Japan.”
“The FIM would like to thank the Motorcycle Federation of Japan (MFJ) and Mobilityland for their support and will be delighted to see this major event in the Trial calendar since 2000 return to the series in 2023. A new 2022 calendar is being studied and will be communicated as soon as the situation allows.”
