Knight, Adamson and Peters stay with Gabriel Motocross team

Gabriel Motocross heads into the 2021 season with the unchanged line-up of Liam Knight, John Adamson and Josh Peters.

Knight will remain in MX1 next year but Adamson – who impressed with a series of solid wildcard rides in this year’s EMXOpen series – will drop down to MX2. Peters will contest the AMCA championship.

“I’m most excited about the new challenge of racing in the MX2 class,” said Adamson. “I feel the team has everything in place to make me as prepared as possible for the up-and-coming season. Evotech has made a very competitive race bike for us and I feel the combination of the two stands me in good stead for achieving my best results next year.”

Knight is looking forward to the new season and the familiarity of starting his second year in MX1 with the same team.

“The team knows exactly what we need to be able to improve and never stop learning,” he said. “With Simon Gabriel’s support as well as incredible bikes to ride, great engines and suspension and good people and brands who we work alongside this all makes it a lot easier to push to the next step.”

Team boss Simon Gabriel can’t wait for racing to get under way.

“This year tested the resilience and patience of everyone on the Gabriel team but were thrilled to be able to prepare for what looks like the return of the motocross schedule we know and love,” he said. “With that in mind, our team is raring to go to deliver their best performance yet next season.”

Knight and Adamson will spend January at the team’s Spanish base.
