Marquez transferred to hospital after practice crash

The six-time MotoGP world champion suffered a fast crash at Jerez’s Turn 7 left-hander in the latter stages of this morning’s FP3 session.
Marquez was able to walk away from the accident but went to the circuit’s medical centre for further checks, which revealed he escaped serious injury and suffered just a cervical contusion.
