MX Nationals: ‘I’m so happy I stayed focused’ – Meara
Phoenix Tools Apico Kawasaki bagged some great results this weekend after a return from injury for the MX1 rider, at Canada heights in Swanley.
Jason’s two races on the Saturday would see him start inside the top ten of the first race and maintain his position to finish in a eighth place for a positive result. The second race saw Jason get another solid start and battle all race long with Liam Knight to claim seventh at the finish.
Then heading into Sundays Fastest 40 moto’s, Jason grabbed another seventh and eighth position for some fantastic results from the Irishman.
“Finally I get a break,’ said Meara. “I’m really chuffed with my weekend and finally put a string of decent results together to bring home sixth overall.”
“After the struggle this year I am so happy I never gave up and stayed focused. I am ready to keep pushing forward now towards the top five, I have proved to myself that I have the speed for it this weekend so I can’t wait to get going at Blaxhall.”
“Thanks to Barry and the whole Phoenix Tools Apico Kawasaki team, I am so happy to be a part of the squad as it’s a pleasure every weekend.”
