MX Nationals to postpone 2021 season opener
This year’s opening round of the MX Nationals at Hawkstone Park has been cancelled – but racing will still happen this season.
Hawkstone was due to take place on April 3 but due to government Covid guidelines, is can’t go ahead. The series will now hopefully begin in early May.
” Due to the Government guidelines set out earlier this week round one at Hawkstone Park will not go ahead as planned,” said a statement.
“The team are working hard behind the scenes to adapt the schedule and get racing underway as soon as possible. For now, it’s just a delayed start – we estimate around four weeks – but we will be going racing this season. Stay safe and we’ll see you all soon.”
