MXGB Canada Heights: ‘I was a small mistake away from winning’ – Wilson Todd

The Bike it MTX Kawasaki team rider Wilson Todd had a good run in the MX2 class yesterday, pushing through the pack and rounding up in the day second overall.

“I had a surprising day yesterday,” said Todd. “We went with no expectation other then getting some practice on a rough track to try gain some bike fitness before the MXGP season starts.

“I had surgery on my arms after round one at Culham and yesterday was my first day back on a bike, so I definitely struggled a little with the bike fitness.”

“With all that aside I rode pretty good, I got out front and opened the gap up and felt pretty comfortable. I was a small mistake away at the end of moto one from winning the day but the fact is I messed up so I was second best. With some bike time under my belt I think you will see some better racing from myself in future races and I’m excited to get the ball rolling.”
