MXGB Lyng: Ben Watson confirmed for round two

Monster Energy Yamaha’s factory MXGP rider Ben Watson has confirmed on the latest 2pro1slow podcast he will be racing at Lyng for round two of the Revo MXGB British Championship this next coming weekend.

Getting some races in before the MXGP season begins in Russia next month, Ben will be lining up on the MX1 start gate at the Cadders Hill circuit on May 23. Ben has previously competed in a round in Sardinia, Italy for the Internazionali Di Italia championship earlier on in the year to work towards a good bike set up and to get some races under his belt.

“I need some 450 practice and the British Championships is the perfect time,” Said Ben. “I think we’re going to come to do a pre season race and then maybe do one more, which will probably be in france a couple of weeks after the British.”
