MXGP Kegums: ‘I’ve been putting too much pressure on myself’ – Gajser
HRC Honda’s Tim Gajser has had a mixed bag of results across the last couple of MXGP rounds, but he is looking to redeem himself heading into Latvia this weekend.
Kegums holds good memories for Gajser, having won the overall result in 2016 and 2019 on his way to his his world championship titles. He also won motos in 2020, but he wasn’t able to grab the top spot in any of the three rounds.
Speaking about the up and coming Latvian GP, Gajser said “Latvia is always a tricky round, but I’ve had some really good races in the past there so I’m hoping to replicate those and get back to winning ways.”
“I’ve been putting too much pressure on myself these past few rounds so now I just want to get back to having fun on the bike again and enjoying my riding and if I can do that, the results will come.”
