MXGP Oss: ‘I’m hoping to come away with two good motos’ – Hammal
Bike It MTX Kawasaki rider Taylor Hammal heads to Oss this weekend for his third MXGP round of the season, competing in the MX2 class.
After a tricky last round for Taylor suffering a DNF, DBR caught up with the Kawasaki rider to discuss how he’s prepped for the three back to back rounds.
“I’m really looking forward to Oss, I have races the track before a couple years ago and I liked it,’ said Taylor.
“It’s not heavy sand it’s more hard pack I’d say so it suits me abit more as we have no sand tracks to practise on back home. Luckily been able to spend the week over in Holland training ready for Oss and eventually Lommel in a few weeks.”
“I’ve done three days riding this week but not having rode this sand in over a year or more you feel pretty rusty jumping back on it, but I’ve just taken this week to get back into the feeling of riding sand again so I’m feeling good now for Sunday for my third GP. Im hoping to come away with two good points scoring motos.”
