News: Vets MXDN to host retro bike jumble
Vets MXDN founder Dave King is hosting a post lockdown bike jumble and show, taking place on Sunday 18th of July at the Wimborne showground in Dorset.
“The reason we are doing it is historically the south coast has a huge motorcycle fraternity but very little in the way of a get-together”, said King.
“The autojumble kind of gives all 2 wheel guys an excuse for a good day out! The interest has blown us away. Bookings from off-road dealers clearing old stock, road bikes and bits, and incredibly a scooter enthusiast who was in the cult 1979 mod film Quadrophenia has booked a pitch.”
”Site entry will be from 6pm on Saturday 17th July for trade set up and pre-booked riverside VIP camping. The venue is on the banks of the beautiful River Stour in Wimborne by the historic Julian’s bridge. The closest postcode is BH21 1EH.
Pitches are priced at £30 each, which includes camping Saturday evening only for 1 vehicle and 1 person.
The public entrance fee is just £5 per person over 16. There is very limited Vip riverside camping at £25 per pitch for non-traders available from 6 pm on Saturday the 17th July, but everyone must be off-site by 6 pm Sunday 18th July.To book or make a payment, call 07710996331 or for General Enquiries call Dave on 07767205198 or Richard on 07745334024
