Östlund moves to MXGP with JK Yamaha

Super-fast Swede Alvin Östlund moves up to the MXGP class next year with the JK Racing Yamaha team.

UK race fans know Östlund well after he contested the 2019 season for Revo Husqvarna, finishing second in the ACU British MX2 Championship behind his team-mate Dylan Walsh.

The team – that also includes Line Dam in WMX, Daniel Gimm in EMX125 and Manuel Iacopi in EMXOpen – is co-supported by Yamaha Motor Italy and Yamaha Motor Scandinavia.

An additional rider, who will represent the team in the MX2 category, will be announced shortly.
