Yokohama sure “catastrophic” 2020 form now behind it

The tyre manufacturer scored its first pole position in SUPER GT’s top GT500 class since 2016 in last month’s Fuji 500km, as Toyota squad Racing Project Bandoh took the top spot in qualifying.
However, that form couldn’t be sustained in the race as the #19 Bandoh GR Supra shared by Yuji Kunimoto and Ritomo Miyata slumped to seventh at the finish.
